The wait is over! Singing sensation Dalon Collins is back with CHRISTMAS anthem and seasonal favorite, “O Come All Ye Faithful” featured on upcoming project A LOVE STORY, slated for release Summer 2013. Fresh off the heels of his debut single, “It’s Me,” his unique tones, tenor voice, and anointed musical gifts are more polished than ever.
Dalon is currently best known for his lead vocals on such timeless hit singles as, Now Behold the Lamb, Conquerors, and Let Me Touch You, and See if you are Real. Formerly with the Grammy, Stellar, and Dove award winning Kirk Franklin and The Family, Dalon is now on point to launch a new chapter in his musical and writing career with M Cubed Entertainment Group. The new single, “It’s Me” will be the first released from his new CD “A Love Story.”

According to Dalon, “It’s taken 20 years to get this project out, and it’s been a process of maturity. I’ve found out who I am during this process.” Dalon encourages others saying, “in life things may take longer than you think. Be sensitive to the time frame you are living in, and don’t give up. GOD’s time is never man’s time. So when it’s time – it’s right on time!”
The nephew of the late NBA star, Olympic gold medalist, and bass guitarist, Wayman Tisdale, and as a son of Dallas/Fort Worth, Dalon has worked on projects with his Uncle, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Andrae’ Crouch, and various notable artists and producers. He is first cousins with singer/actor Tamela Mann of “Meet the Browns,” and the Tyler Perry Madea movies. Dalon and Tamela have been featured singing on singles together.
Some of Dalon’s musical influences include Rev. Al Green, Rev. James Moore, the Clark Sisters, Commissioned, Fred Hammond, Sam Cook, Chaka Khan, and Luther Vandross. He was also influenced by the Big Band sound, the European sound, and songs from the 70’s and 80’s.
Dalon has been blessed to minister overseas on numerous occasions, and he is looking forward to sharing with other cultures in nations around the world. He has blessed audiences with his musical gifts in Europe and in Seoul, South Korea with the Pace Sisters.
